Description
This three page quiz allows students to demonstrate their ability to handle basic rational expressions (algebraic fractions). Students will be required to reduce simple rational expressions, including factoring variables with exponents, as well as add, subtract, multiply and divide rational expressions. It is a no – calculator test that is written to challenge all levels of students. Students can demonstrate their knowledge about the concepts learned, as well as demonstrate proficiency with procedures. The level of the problems ranges from routine (100% procedural), to thoughtful (non-routine).
The test comes complete with an easy to use, one-page grading document, which helps you decide how to award partial credit.
